AMTR Freeze 2 - high-speed double curtain door for extreme conditions

AMTR Freeze 2 is an industrial high-speed roll-up door designed for extreme freezer environments where maximum thermal insulation and precise separation between temperature zones are required. The door features a double PVC curtain system with an internal air layer, providing enhanced thermal performance and reducing heat transfer between zones.

The self-repairing curtain automatically reinserts into the side guides after accidental impact, allowing immediate continuation of operation without downtime. This is particularly important in high-frequency logistics and cold storage applications.

The advanced double curtain construction achieves a thermal performance of approximately U = 1.4 W/m²K, making it suitable for environments with temperature differences of up to 40°C. To ensure reliable operation in extreme conditions, the door is equipped with an integrated heating system including heated guides, motor heating and control cabinet heating, effectively preventing ice formation and condensation.

The door is powered by a 3-phase motor with active brake (IP55) and controlled via a logic-based system with inverter or contactor configuration, depending on door size. With opening speeds of up to 1.5 m/s, the system supports efficient workflow while maintaining strict thermal separation.

AMTR Freeze 2 supports maximum dimensions up to 4500 mm in width and 5600 mm in height, with wind resistance up to Class 3 (EN 12424). Equipped with a dual IP67 multibeam safety barrier and double anti-jamming sensors, the system complies with EN 12604 and EN 12453, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
